Leaving the Institutional Church

You are Not the Only One!

“Can two people walk together without agreeing to meet?” – Amos 3:3

Today, millions of Christians are leaving the institutional brick and mortar church for many reasons and here are a few:

•Backsliding in their walk of faith

•To preserve what’s left of their faith, after getting abuse from the church

•To have a desire to understand more about the Kingdom of God without going through legalism to get their questions answered

Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd, is calling His sheep to prepare themselves for the great banquet coming soon.  I know you can heard the sound…Will the Lord catch us doing His commands or not; especially in our busy churches of today? The answer will probably be – NO!

Every committed Believer in Jesus Christ hears Him calling within their hearts…

They are leaving because the institutional church isn’t fulfilling their spiritual hunger anymore, and by going to the church is wasting too much time and energy on programs and activities that do little or nothing to help their spiritual walk with God, deeper dependence on our Savior, Jesus Christ, or have love for one another.

Make no mistake about it. Jesus is calling His sheep and His sheep know His voice (v.14). But, it often comes at a price:

•leaving family and friends at your local church

•walking by faith and not by sight

•walking into persecution for Christ sake

Are you ready to pay the cost?
